Chloe arrived in our room at 6am this morning to tell DH that it wasn’t raining out and that the sun was shining. Since our new arrival will be arriving any day now, we have no plans booked and are just taking it easy.
Today we grabbed KFC and went to a local conservation area. A picnic, a game of hide-and-seek, a run-over dried out frog to inspect, water-play and lots of sun. How can a day get any better?
My favorite thing about summer? The water! How about you?
What a pleasant way to spend the day. We are overbooked and overwhelmed with the busies of life. Today we actually had no plans and are enjoying a day at home.
