Yesterday, I saw a sign that said, “If you’re going to act like a turd, go lay in the yard.” It made me think of my dad. Love you, daddy!
Our room is decorated Western style. Brandi made up “wanted posters” and actually brought a copy of her Grandfather in the Calgary stampede in the 50’s. Cool huh?
Brandi has been entertaining us for sure. The funniest thing she packed? A stapler! LOL. But no staples. She also shared with us some thoughts on safety. When walking alone and you feel as if you are being stalked, simply act gross. True story: Brandi was walking early in the morning, all alone, when she had a strange feeling. She peered behind her, she saw a man following her. She started scratching, snorting, smelling her armpits and acting rather repulsive. The man walked away. Hmmm, interesting.
We had a big HoeDown and won for best costume. Thanks Ann!
So it’s been entertaining.
That, and the Ultimate Blog Party started tonight. Whew, I’m exhausted and starting to get homesick!
You seem to be having a ton of fun but you’re so busy! It’s amazing to me that you find time to blog. Keep up the good work! I’m sure home misses you too!
