On Sunday our church had a beautiful Remembrance Day-in-advance service and today we visited the Toronto Zoo to celebrate Remembrance Day with their special memorial. It was a very nice service.
I typically shed tears on Remembrance Day as I think about the soldiers and their bravery, the families left behind, the ugliness, dirtiness and suffering of war and the incredible freedom that we now have because of it.
My heart is full of thankfulness and gratitude as we remember the sacrifices made for that which is good, beautiful, free…
Lest we forget!
