Rocks in My Washer, More In My Dryer

Nature Shelf

I just transferred a load of laundry from the washer to the dryer. I collected all the rocks from the bottom of the washer and relocated them to the yard. After starting the dryer, I shut it off, rifled through the clothes and removed the remainder of the rocks.

Yesterday my husband put up the “nature shelf” in the bathroom and we quickly filled it with our treasures. The children were very excited about this and are very proud to have their nature collection displayed.

Acorn tops from the park

A robin’s egg shell from a walk last week

A beautiful colored rock

An acorn that we thought was neat

Shells we collected from the beach in Congo

A rock with a shell fossil in it found on the shore of Lake Erie

What are your children’s favorite treasures?
