It has been said that little ones soak up knowledge like sponges and I am constantly amazed at how true this is. As Chloe (3) learns to count, memorize scripture and now learn the books of the New Testament, John (22 months) is soaking it all up too.
As a child, I learned the books of the New Testament through the song, and my littles are too. So far my little ones have learned,
“Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Epistle to the Romans, First & Second Corinthians, Galatians and Ephesians…”
We’ve been working on it for about a week and a half and are having a blast doing it. They love to sing, read and do anything that mommy is doing.
Listening to my sweet little singers and learning to upload my very first video are both Finer Things.
LOVE IT. Are they not the cutest!!
How adorable! My kiddos Elijah (4) and Desiree (6) started Awana in Feb. and have been loving it. Desiree learnt the books of the New Testament as part of one of her “badges”.
I’m amazed at both your kids learning these books of the Bible — especially John being so young!

Thanks for the links…I’m heading to check them out right now.
Chloe starts Cubbies (the younger AWANA) in September and is really excited!! I went to AWANA as a child and loved it. Most of the verses I have memorized came from my years there. It is so much easier for many children to memorize than it is for adults!
